Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not monthsAn equipment rental website has one job: help a contractor find the right excavator, lift or skid steer, trust your yard and ask for it, fast and from a phone. We design custom WordPress websites for equipment rental companies, built to rank in Google and built around how renters actually decide.
The renter's view
A renter is usually short on time and often on a phone at a job site. They want to know three things quickly: do you have the machine, roughly what does it cost, and can you deliver here. A site that answers those in a few taps wins the call over one that hides everything behind a form, or a catalog nobody can search.
The people using an equipment rental website are different from shoppers on an ordinary store. A project manager is checking whether you have a 60 ft boom lift and a telehandler on the same day. An excavation foreman wants to see the dig depth of a mid-size excavator and whether you can deliver to the east side of the county. A purchasing agent wants to know how to set up an account. Each of them needs a different page, and a different next step.
The same structure helps in Google. Real category pages, clear titles and fast loading are what let search engines understand and rank an equipment rental catalog, which is why we design the website and the SEO plan together.
Must-haves
| Element | What it looks like | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Category and class pages | A page for each type of equipment (excavators, skid steers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, generators) and each size class | Gives every type of equipment a page that can rank on its own. |
| Individual machine pages | Photos from several angles, control close-ups, specs, attachments, typical jobs and a quote button | Answers "will this do the job" without a phone call, and gives Google unique content. |
| Spec sheets and media | Downloadable spec sheets, operating manuals where appropriate and short demo videos | Reduces calls to the counter and builds confidence. |
| Rates and terms | Starting rates or ranges, daily, weekly and four-week periods, delivery and pickup, fuel and damage waiver policy, and what is required to rent | Renters leave when they cannot tell what it will cost. |
| Availability | Availability by yard, or a clear "check availability" request on every machine page | Contractors choose the yard that has the machine. |
| Locations and delivery | A page for each yard, with hours, a map, towns served and delivery windows | Removes a common question and supports map rankings. |
| Quote, reservation and checkout | A short quote request, tap-to-call, and where it fits, date pickers and online payment, or a link to your reservation system | Makes the next step obvious from any page. |
| Account and credit application | A clear way for businesses to open an account | Contractors rent repeatedly, and accounts are where the revenue is. |
| Trust signals | Reviews, safety information, certifications and manufacturer partnerships, shown only where you actually hold them | A foreman wants proof of a reliable, safe operation. |
| Job-site gallery | Real photos of your equipment on real jobs, not stock images | Shows a working fleet and gives you fresh visual content. |
| Mobile speed | Fast loading, a sticky call button and easy forms on phones | Most urgent rental searches come from a phone. |
| Analytics | Tracking for calls, quote requests and reservations | Shows which machines and pages bring in rentals. |
Equipment pages
| Equipment type | What renters look for | What the page should include |
|---|---|---|
| Excavators | Size class, dig depth and reach, bucket options | Operating weight, max dig depth, tail swing, available buckets and attachments, typical jobs, trailer or delivery notes |
| Skid steers and compact track loaders | Lift capacity, tracks or tires, attachments | Rated operating capacity, wheel or track option, attachment list, ground-pressure notes and typical jobs |
| Boom lifts and scissor lifts | Working height, platform capacity, indoor or outdoor | Platform and working height, capacity, drive type (electric, diesel or hybrid), reach, narrow-aisle options |
| Telehandlers and forklifts | Lift height and capacity, terrain | Max lift height and capacity at height, forward reach, attachments, rough-terrain or warehouse use |
| Compaction equipment | Weight, plate width or drum size | Compaction force, weight, plate width or drum size, suitable soils and jobs |
| Generators and light towers | Power output, fuel, runtime | kW or kVA, phase, fuel type, runtime per tank, noise level, outlets and hookups |
| Pumps and compressors | Flow rate, discharge size, solids handling | Gallons per minute, hose size, head height, CFM and PSI for compressors |
| Cranes and lifting | Capacity, reach, operator requirements | Rated capacity and chart summary, boom length, whether an operator is supplied, setup and permit notes |
Specs vary by manufacturer and model. We write each page from your actual machines and spec sheets, and you review the technical details before anything goes live.

Custom or a rental platform
Software built for equipment rental can handle inventory, reservations and payments, and some companies use it to run an online store. Those tools are good at the transaction. They are not always good at search: catalogs that live only inside a script or app can be hard for Google to read, and the pages are often thin.
A custom website gives you control of the structure, the content and the SEO. Many rental companies get the best of both by building a custom site around crawlable category and machine pages, then linking to or embedding the reservation step from their rental software where it supports it. We check what your software can do before we design around it.
How it works
We review your fleet, locations and best accounts, and map the pages the site needs, from category pages to individual machines.
You approve the design on key pages before any build starts.
We build the catalog, connect the quote form and tracking, and create the location pages.
The website goes live after review, and your team gets a walkthrough for adding machines and updating rates.
Cost
A custom, fully managed website is included with Organic Growth Gold and Platinum. If you only want the website, we quote it as a standalone project, with no Organic Growth plan required.
Questions
A custom, fully managed website is included with Organic Growth Gold ($2,495 a month) and Platinum ($3,495 a month). A standalone website is quoted after a short call, based on the size of your catalog. There is no contract.
Often you can link to or embed the reservation or quote step from your rental management software, but it depends on what that software supports. We check it before we design around it.
It depends on your rentals. Small equipment that rents by the day often suits online booking and payment. Heavy machines with delivery, operators or credit approval usually suit a quote request and an account application. We build the path that matches how you rent.
Usually yes, at least a starting rate or range, because renters leave when they cannot tell what it costs. If rates vary widely, we explain what changes them and show typical ranges.
You need pages for the categories and classes you rent, and individual machine pages for the units and models that matter most. We start with the highest-revenue equipment and add from there.
It depends on the size of your catalog and how quickly you review the mockups. We give a schedule after we have seen your inventory.
It is included with Organic Growth Gold and Platinum. Silver does not include a website, and you can also buy one on its own.
