Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not months"Equipment rental near me" is a map search. Our local SEO work gets every one of your yards a complete, accurate Google Business Profile, steady reviews and consistent listings, so the contractors closest to you see you first.
The map pack
A foreman on a site with a machine that just went down does not scroll through ten blue links. They search on their phone, glance at the three businesses shown on the map and tap call. For many equipment rental companies that makes the map listing the first impression, and sometimes the only one.
Google weighs three things in those results: relevance to the search, distance from the searcher and prominence, which draws on reviews, listings and the strength of your website. You cannot move your yard, but you can make the profile complete and the signals strong.
Profile checklist
| Profile item | What we set | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Primary and secondary categories | The categories that best describe what you rent, from the options Google offers | Categories decide which searches the profile can appear for. |
| Hours | Real counter hours, including early openings for contractors, after-hours contact and holiday changes | People call or drive over only when they think you are open. |
| Services and products | The machine types and classes you rent, listed individually | It tells Google and renters what you actually have. |
| Photos | The yard, the gate, loaded delivery trucks and the fleet itself | Renters want to see a real, busy operation before they call. |
| Delivery area and website link | Your service area and a link to the right location page | It sends the click to a page built for that yard, not the home page. |
| Posts and updates | New arrivals, fleet availability and seasonal offers | Fresh activity signals a business that is open and running. |
Category names and available fields change from time to time, so we check what Google currently offers before we make changes.
Equipment lines
Each yard may stock a different mix. We list the equipment lines each location actually has (excavators and backhoes, skid steers and compact track loaders, boom and scissor lifts, telehandlers and forklifts, generators, light towers and compressors, compaction and concrete equipment) in the profile's services and products, so Google and renters can see what that yard carries. We add photos of the yard, the gate and loaded delivery trucks, since renters often look at these before calling.
More than one yard
Multi-branch equipment rental companies get into trouble when listings multiply: a duplicate profile from an old address, a branch that moved, a slightly different business name on three directories. We start with a full audit of what exists for each location, merge or remove duplicates where Google's guidelines allow, and make the name, address and phone number consistent everywhere.
Google's rules decide what qualifies for a profile, particularly for locations that deliver but do not staff a counter. We check each one against them before touching anything, so you do not put an existing listing at risk.
What we manage
Every location
Categories, services, hours, photos and descriptions, written for the machines you actually rent.
Requests and responses
A simple way to ask finished renters for a review, and replies that sound like a real yard. Contractors often mention delivery timing and equipment condition, which is what the next renter wants to read.
Consistent listings
Accurate listings on the directories that matter. Citations and links for rental.
Fresh activity
Regular posts about new equipment, availability and seasonal demand.
Know where you stand
Tracking for the machine and city searches that matter to you, reported each month.
How it works
We find each profile, duplicate and directory entry for every location and note what is wrong or missing.
We correct the basics, then fill in categories, services, photos and descriptions.
Posts go out on a schedule and a review process runs after each rental.
You see map rankings each month, and we adapt as the season changes.
Cost
Google Business Profile, citations and review management are part of every Organic Growth plan, together with RankGuarantee™ landing pages and AI search. No setup fee, no contract.
Questions
Google Business Profile, citations and review management are part of every Organic Growth plan: $1,495 a month for Silver, $2,495 for Gold and $3,495 for Platinum. There is no setup fee and no contract.
It depends on Google's guidelines, which separate staffed locations from service-area businesses and have specific rules about both. We read them against your setup first and tell you what qualifies.
Ask every renter at the end of the rental, while the job went well. We set up a short, repeatable way to do that and handle the responses. We never buy or fake reviews, which would put the profile at risk.
Review count is one signal among several. Complete profiles, accurate categories and a strong location page can still win ground, and steady new reviews close the gap over time.
Local SEO is the map half of the picture; standard SEO covers the pages on your website. Organic Growth plans include both. See equipment rental SEO.
