Get results in days, not monthsResults in days, not monthsPaid ads put your yard in front of renters on the platforms they use, and you only pay for attention you get. We manage Google Ads, Bing, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and, where it makes sense, ChatGPT ads, with one account manager and one monthly report. Management is a flat fee from $895 a month, with no contracts.
Why more than one platform
Each ad platform reaches people at a different moment. Search ads reach someone typing "telehandler rental near me" because the job needs one now. Social ads reach people who are not looking yet. Newer channels, like the ads that now appear in ChatGPT, reach people while they research. For an equipment rental company the order is usually the same: start where intent is highest, then add reach.
That is why most equipment rental companies begin with Google Ads, and add a second platform once the first is working. Management is priced by the number of platforms, so you can start small and grow.
The platforms
Search intent, highest volume
Your ads appear when someone searches for a machine and a place. The core channel for most equipment rental companies. Google Ads for rental.
Work-computer searchers
A smaller search channel that often reaches business users at lower competition. About Bing ads.
Facebook and Instagram
Retargeting site visitors and keeping your yard familiar to local contractors. Meta ads for rental.
Sponsored placements in ChatGPT
A new channel with its own ad manager. Worth a careful test for some markets; we explain how below.
Compare
| Platform | Who sees your ad | Best for | Cost model |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Ads | People searching for a machine or a yard | Calls and quote requests now | You pay per click, set by your budget |
| Bing | Bing and Microsoft browser searchers | Extra reach on work computers | You pay per click |
| Meta Ads | People in your area on Facebook and Instagram | Retargeting and local familiarity | You pay per click or per impression |
| ChatGPT ads | Some ChatGPT users on free and lower-priced plans | Testing a new channel | Advertisers can bid per click or per impression |
Ad spend is separate from our management fee and goes straight to the platform.
Bing
Bing is the default search engine in Microsoft's Edge browser, which ships with Windows, so part of your audience searches there without choosing it. Project managers, dispatchers and purchasing staff who book equipment for a company often do it from a work computer. Microsoft Advertising works much like Google Ads, usually with fewer advertisers competing in a given market, and it lets us import a working Google campaign and adapt it. How much it adds depends on your area and fleet, so we judge it on your own numbers.
ChatGPT ads
OpenAI now shows sponsored ads in ChatGPT to some users on its free and lower-priced plans, and offers businesses a self-serve ad manager to buy them. The ads are labeled and sit apart from ChatGPT's answers; OpenAI says they do not change what the assistant says. As of this writing, targeting is by country or topic rather than by keyword, and measurement is still developing, so it is an early channel.
For equipment rental, the honest position is to treat it as a test, not a foundation. Contractors who ask ChatGPT which size of machine they need may be near a decision, which is promising, but the channel has far less targeting control than search. We watch how it develops, and we can help you decide whether a small test makes sense next to your Google campaigns. Ads are different from AI search optimization, which earns unpaid mentions in AI answers.
How it works
Usually Google, built around your machines and delivery radius.
Calls, quote requests and reservations are counted so each platform is judged on rentals, not clicks.
Once the first is working, we add Bing or Meta where the numbers support it.
Newer options, like ChatGPT ads, start as small tests with a clear way to measure them.
Cost
Our management fee is flat and priced by how many platforms we run for you. Ad spend is separate and goes straight to the ad platform. No setup fee and no contracts. Over $10K a month in ad budget? Call us.
Questions
Our management fee is $895 a month for one platform, $1,595 for two and $2,295 for three. There are no contracts and no setup fee. Your ad spend is separate and paid directly to Google, Microsoft, Meta or another platform. How much to spend depends on your rates, your market and how many rentals you want, and we work it out with you before launch.
For most equipment rental companies, Google Ads, because it reaches contractors who are searching to rent right now. We add Bing or Meta once Google is running well.
Yes. Facebook and Instagram ads run through Meta. See Meta ads for equipment rental.
Possibly as a small test. It is a new channel with limited targeting and developing measurement, so we would not build a plan around it yet. We can help you judge whether a test fits your market.
No one can. We build and manage campaigns, track calls and quote requests, and report what happened every month.
